Ninth Annual Jemez Mountain Trail Runs
50 mile, 50k, Half Marathon
Saturday, May 24, 2014

A huge "Thank You!" to all the runners and volunteers that helped make the 2014 races a wonderful success. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't on our side on race day and we had to cancel the ultra distances in the early afternoon after snow and wind on Pajarito Mountain left many runners suffering from mild hypothermia. Definitely a strange weather day for the Los Alamos area for Memorial Day weekend!
When we firm up the race date for next year, we'll post an update here and on the JMTR Facebook page. We hope to see you all again in 2015!

The 2014 JMTR races will again be "cupless" races to reduce waste generated by our events. All runners in all races will need to carry a water bottle and/or other hydration system to refill at the aid stations. The JMTR races will again be cupless this year! We've partnered with HydraPouch to enable you to make your cupless experience easier and cleaner. Purchase your HydraPouch via this link to receive a 10% discount on your order. The JMTR 2014 half marathon is proud to again be a part of the Trail Runner magazine Trophy Series!
A huge thank you to all the runners and volunteers that came out for the 2013 JMTR races! It was a toasty day out there but that didn't stop 93 runners from completing the 50 mile race, 195 runners from completing the 50k race and 229 runners from completing the half marathon race. Full results are now posted at UltraSignup.com.

Also, local photographer Jim Stein was out on the 50M/50k course and got some great photos. Jim is donating all proceeds from his photo sales to our organization. Thanks Jim! See you all again in 2014!
