Fourth Annual Jemez Mountain Trail Runs
50 mile, 50k, Half Marathon

The fourth running of the Jemez Mountain Trail Runs was a success. Over 400 hundred runners were treated to excellent running weather. A cold front moved through the night before the race resulting in temperatures in the 60s with mostly cloudy skies. This was a welcome relief from the 80 degree heat in Los Alamos during the week before the race.

The overall winner of the 50 mile race was Ryan Burch with a time of 9:13:52. Darcy Africa lead the woman with a time of 10:48:44. Darcy's time sets a new course record for the current course route.

In the 50k race Paul Saladino edged out Keri Nelson to win in 5:25:33. Keri won the womans race with a time of 5:31:53.
